What is a Solar Return chart?
A solar return chart shows a snapshot of the sky at the moment when the Sun returns to the place it was at the time of your birth. The positions of the planets at the time of the solar return can be read like a birth chart for your year ahead and show you the main themes that lie ahead.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to book the reading on my actual birthday?
No, you can book within a few weeks before or after, for any time that works best for you.
How is this different from the Year Ahead Forecast?
The Birthday Reading focuses on the solar return chart and is more reflective and theme-focused. It is a great time to set goals and intentions for the year. The Year Ahead Forecast is more detailed and timing-focused.
Will you predict specific events?
This session focuses on themes and broader timing rather than guaranteed event prediction.
Will we look at transits and progressions?
We may go into transits and progressions briefly if they help reinforce or clarify the main solar return themes.
Can we talk about career, relationships, or another specific area?
Yes, especially if that area of life is strongly highlighted in the solar return chart or if you let me know you want to focus on that area more. You can let me know in the booking notes if you want to only focus on one area.
Do I need an exact birth time?
Yes, solar return techniques are reliant on an exact birth time for accurate results. If you have an approximate birth time, let me know, and I can adjust the techniques accordingly.
Is this suitable if I’ve never had a birth chart reading before?
Yes, you can have a Birthday Reading without ever having a birth chart reading. However, I would highly recommend you get a birth chart reading first, as it will help you align with not just the energies of this year, but also offer insight you can carry with you across your whole lifetime.
